The IELTS (English Language Testing System) Test is a world-wide recognized examination for advanced English speakers who would like to study at a university or work in a country having English as the official language. Most universities ask for a certificate of English in order to allow you to study there. The IELTS Test is world-wide recognized, most of all in England, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the USA. The IELTS test is often required by organizations like immigration authorities or employment agencies.
Several schools of ours offer preparatory courses for the IELTS. The IELTS test is divided into 4 parts: IELTS listening (listening comprehension 40 minutes), IELTS reading (reading comprehension 60 minutes), IELTS writing (60 minutes.), and IELTS Speaking (interview 15 minutes). You will get your results according to a scale from 0 (non-user) to 9 (expert user). There are several IELTS modules, however, you can choose to take the IELTS Academic Module or the IELTS General Training Module. If you want to study at a university where English is spoken, or if you want to apply for the General Medical Council or Dental Medical Council in Great Britain, you will need the Academic Module. If you want to emigrate to Australia, New Zeeland or Canada, you will need the IELTS General Training Module. However we recommend you to ask directly at the university, the immigration authority or the organization which module you actually need, since it is your responsibility to choose the right module.
