Junior: Student Residence + Intensive Language Course + Leisure Program

Summer language course with accommodation in the residence for students between 14 - 17 years!

In addition to the German course, the junior course includes accommodation in a student residence in double or four-bed rooms with private bathrooms. The participants receive full board, which begins with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure.

Classes take place in the same building where participants stay. The school is located in the center of Munich, just three stops from the famous Marienplatz.

The course will take place from 18.06. - 26.08.23 for a period of 2 - 10 weeks. The last day of classes is 26.08.23.

* The price includes:
- 24 language lessons per week
- Accommodation in a 3- or 4-bed room in the residence (double room for a fee, see below)

- Weekend excursions (except on departure Saturday, but can be booked for an additional fee of 30 EUR).

Check-in to the residence is on Sunday between 16h00 and 20h00 and check-out is on Saturday between 08h00 and 11h00.

For accommodation in a double/twin room there is a weekly supplement of 100 EUR (not included in the price). Depending on availability, it is also possible to book an extra night for 100,00 EUR
A deposit of 50,00 EUR for the residence will be collected on site.

Some examples of the activities and excursions are the following: Sea Life, Frauenkirche and Marienplatz, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Sports, Workshop, Mini Golf & Pit Pat, Salzburg, Neuschwanstein Castle, Film, etc.

For the junior programs, the transfer costs as follows:
Arrival (Sunday)/Departure (Saturday) between 09h00 and 18h00
Airport 65 EUR (one way);
- Surcharge for arrivals outside of these times: 75,00;
- Surcharge for Unaccompanied Minor Service: 50,00 EUR.

The teaching material costs around EUR 25 per month and can be purchased directly at the school. Textbooks from leading specialist publishers for German as a foreign language are used in class. All DID textbooks are communicatively oriented, thematically structured and are supplemented by authentic audio material on CD

With previous knowledge, it is possible to start every week at Monday. For beginners the following start dates apply: *2023: 02.01., 06.02., 06.03., 03.04., 02.05. (Tueasday), 05.06., 03.07., 07.08., 04.09., 02.10., 06.11., 04.12. In summer (03.07.-18.08.2023) there is a surcharge for the language course. This is already included in the offer.

General details about DID München:

The school is closed on public holidays and between Christmas and New Year. Lessons that are canceled as a result will not be made up for or reimbursed. The school offer a health insurance: 12,00 EUR per week The school also offers the following courses: - Unpaid internship in combination with a German course of at least six weeks. The placement fee for this program is 700,00 EUR; - Individual lessons for 65,00 per hour (only in combination with a group course, at least two individual lessons per week must be booked).

TIP: The price of the pick-up service is often very high because a driver has to pick you up, wait for you and finally take you to the school or accommodation. For this reason, I recommend you to compare this fare to the public transport of the city.

The fee transfer for adult courses is 125 EUR each way from the airport and 90 EUR from the main train station. Transfer before 09h00 and after 18h00 on request.
